Would watching a live cam up my downloading usage although it isn’t ‘downloaded’ straight to my comp?
I have DSL which means I also have a downloading limit of 10gb a month. Someone in our house has been watching a live camera feed of the oil spill 24/7. He seems to be confused that if the LIVE camera isn’t directly downloaded to the his comp that it doesn’t count as downloading. I say it does, since it goes up whenever I watch a youtube video, ect. I’m being accused of going on a downloading spree since it’s went up 10gb+ this month. So, if I’m wrong please correct me, but if I’m right any links or even an explanation is much appreciated. Thank you!
You are correct, ANYTHING you look at is DOWNLOADED to your computer so you can see it, it may only be temporarily stored in the cache but it is still downloaded.
