Why the command not to hurt the oil and wine?
Revelation 6:6
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
Among the Hebrews, the act of anointing with the Holy anointing oil was significant in consecration to a holy or sacred use. Wine refers to the baptism of the Holy Ghost as in “new wine”…and also to the blood of Jesus.
It is talking about those who have recieved the Holy Spirt of God. Those who are the annointed of God.
2 Cor. 1:20-22 “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee”
